Room For Rent [Part 4 - Breakfast]
The next day, he came into the kitchen while I was bent over, plugging in my phone charger on the wall socket behind the bookcase, my legs spread a little and my leggings tight on my ass. My heart raced as I felt him pause behind me, just for a second, and then sit down in his usual spot.
“Oh hey,” I ventured, standing up, my voice a little wavy. “Morning. You sleep okay?”
“Yeah,” he said, picking something off the table and refusing to make eye contact. “What are you having for breakfast?”
“Granola bar,” I said, holding it up. He didn’t look. “You?”
“Not sure yet,” he said. “Might fry something fatty and delicious.”
“Jealous,” I smiled. “Anything fun on the work agenda today?”
We continued making small talk, but I struggled to picture anything other than the moment I had presented him with my huge naked tits the night before. There was something about his face in that moment; the vulnerability, the embarrassment. Looking back on it now, did I also sense an excitement in his eyes? A desire? Hunger?
“...and then they basically just add a load of fancy graphics at the end and make it look pretty.”
I nodded. “Brutal. Sounds like you don’t get any credit.”
He shrugged. “I can handle it.”
I let my gaze linger on him for a moment. “I bet you can.”
His ears went red. “Hey, look. I’m really sorry about last night, I–”
“Hey, don’t be silly. Who am I to tell someone they can’t sneak around their own apartment with a sandwich in the dark like a creep.”
He opened his mouth.
“I’m teasing!” I said. “Don’t worry about it. It’s one hundred percent my fault.”
Jason rubbed the back of his neck, smiling despite himself. “I promise, I wasn’t trying to catch you out. Not that I did catch you out or anything, I just–” He cut himself off, clearing his throat.
I tilted my head, watching him squirm.
Was I…enjoying this?
Maybe. A little.
I leaned against the kitchen countertop, pushing my arms together slightly. “I really am sorry though, you weren’t meant to see me like that. Have I scarred you for life or what? Should I start looking for a new roommate?”
“No!” he said, a little too quickly, the force of his utterance giving me a little thrill. “I’ve had much worse roommates, I promise.”
“Good,” I said, grabbing my granola bar. “Then I guess you’ll see me again later, right?”
Jason’s eyes widened slightly. “Oh…uh…”
“For lunch, perv.”
And with that, I left the kitchen.
