Obviously I didn’t plan it like that, it just kind of happened.

I was hanging out in my garden with my friend’s Mark and Dave. “Sucks to suck,” Dave replied, not really listening either, typing something on his laptop. “Maybe it wouldn’t matter if you had skills.”

I smiled to myself, enjoying the familiar and friendly pattern of their banter. It felt nice to be in their company just chilling.

“I’m serious, they’ve killed my build, dude….”

I rolled onto my front, catching Mark out of the corner of my eye as I moved. He was looking at my legs, glossed with a sheen of sweat from the heat. He looked away quickly, his eyes returning to his laptop.

Weird. I never caught him looking at me like that before.

“Who cares? That game sucks,” Dave said.

“What else did they change?” I asked, feeling a little bad for Mark, his face turning a red from getting caught peeking up my sundress. After all, it was only human nature. And who could blame him? Mark looked again. Then Dave. Then Mark again. Just fleeting glances, but I was starting to enjoy it.

Dave nudged Mark and nodded at my butt, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively, nodding toward me, toward my legs, toward where the dress had bunched up and was now barely covering the curve of my ass. My heart leaped.

What should I do? Pull my dress down? Call them out? Kick them out of my garden?

I don’t know what I should have done, but I know what I did do.
